Getting the leader in the House is absolutely what we need now.
As much as John Tory's grassroots networking was helping the party, it's inappropriate for him to be the party's leader and remain without a seat for too long. A year at most is enough. Look at those party leaders who took more than a year to find a seat (Joe Clark, Jack Layton): their parties didn't do very well.
It is about time. Erie was showing about as much action in leaving as Clark was showing in getting a seat.
